I sent the client three thumbnail sketches in color to start. Since he wasn’t sure what I should include in the composition, I gave him a few different options. He eventually settled on the faceless one, but requested that I include the edge of his tattoo as well. After consulting with the client on the best format for the title, we decided that a pop of red would bring the piece together.
